Mardi Gras is always a fun time of celebrations and confetti! So let’s celebrate Fat Tuesday (the day before Lent – “Ash Wednesday”) Downtown Tulsa, OK at the Blue Dome District with the 5th annual Mardi Gras Parade.

Tue Mar 4, 2014 7pm – 10pm Central Time

Find your Masks, those colorful beads and boxes of confetti…and let’s have some FUN! I am looking forward to shooting photos of the parade this year! Join me! And if you would like a special Mardi Gras shoot all your own, let’s talk session date!

On a shoestring, at the drop of a hat

Good morning everyone and happy Thursday. Today we will continue our recap of our big summer trip that we just finished up earlier this week. After spending a great night talking and eating delicious Thai food with our friends Yadi and Rob in San Francisco we boarded a Delta flight to Tulsa early Sunday morning. Well, actually, in order to get to Tulsa we had to fly to Minneapolis. This is absolutely a round about way to arrive in Tulsa but it happened to be the most affordable on our day of departure.

Upon arriving in Minneapolis we realized that we would need to take a long walk across the airport. This allowed us to take in the vastness that is Minneapolis/St. Paul International. There were so many shops that it felt as if we had been transported into a mall. There were souvenir shops, clothing stores, and restaurants every…

Tulsa, OK Photowalk

 

Yes, I am from Oklahoma. No, we don’t live in tents and hunt buffalo.

Tulsa is a wonderful place. Though it is not the only place I have lived, it is the place I have lived the longest. Downtown is beautiful. The City is being redone here and there and is looking wonderful. I love the architecture of downtown Tulsa. Check out some shots I took while walking downtown with friends:
