Thirteen Days of Halloween: FIVE

This session was a lot of fun. Children don’t often have a long attention span before they are school age and sometimes this discourages people to take up projects like this one. Pets tend to have even less of an attention span…depending on the breed and personality.  This young lady is a ball of energy and “Toto” was too. We did have a LOT of fun shooting and my little model loved getting dressed up to go out and play. 😀 Meet “Dorothy and Toto…her little dog too”.

Haunting sights of Nature

I love a walk in the Nature Park in any season….but Autumn is my favorite season. As the season’s of life have past and changed, so have I. As a child, my favorite season was summer. I loved the adventure, not having to attend school, and the water! Swimming was life! Now if I can walk outside and enjoy nature in all its wonderous array of wardrobe…(colors)… I am content to enjoy nature.

There are things to see everywhere…though it seems as though few see them. I have a vivid imagination and sometimes one small (ish) thing in nature sparks an entire imaginary scene or scenario in the eye of the mind.

This tree and the month of October with All Hallow’s Eve just around the corner reminded me of all the pictures of haunted houses and bare spooky trees pictured in children’s story books. What would you see on an Autumn nature walk?

Halloween…Love the Holidays (part 1)

Holidays are special!

Ok…I know the holidays bring stress and extra items for that “to do” list. However, you have to admit they also give you something to remember, and to look forward to.

Ok so some would rather just look forward to them being over….but not me! 😀

I love fall and the holidays that the season brings! Being September…Labor Day is over. Summer activities are gone…and next comes Halloween!

So….I want to hear what you are dressing as this Halloween. I would love to do a costume shoot with you and a bunch of friends! Come on! Be a kid again! Dress up and have fun. I am dying to hear your ideas!
